I climbed into my Ameristep popup at 4:00 p:m for what I hoped would be a successful evening hunt. I sat there for about an hour and all that had come in were a couple of birds. Just as I started to get a little sleepy a squirrell came sneaking into my feeder. I came to full draw and settled my 20 yard pin on his left jaw. Thwack the arrow was headed straight at his head. My trip to Thompson Temple's started at 2:30 am Friday January 18, 2008.
I headed for Tim and BJ's to meet up with them and Aaron. We headed out from their house at about 5:45 am. After 6 hours of driving we arrived at Thompson Temple's ranch. I arrived at Hunt N Shoot at about 5:00 p:m not really knowing what to expect since I had never met anyone from MOF in person. As soon as I stepped out of my pickup I was greeted by Dustin and Rod. It took all of about 5 seconds to get comfortable around everybody. I have hunted with lots of people but never with a group that I was 100 % comfortable with until now.
